Bereans: "A Pure Fellowship"

"No one believes they are in a pure fellowship." -- Jim Phillips, Berean

So claimed Jim Phillips. Once again, history has a different story to tell. Below you will find a sampling from over the years of The Berean magazine, going back to its beginning. I was careful to take quotes scattered out over the history of the magazine to show the consistency of the claim over the years.

These results are from a search on a single phrase "pure fellowship". Notice that "a pure fellowship" was certainly the aim of the first Bereans, and is still the aim, even if denied by bro. Phillips. One Berean termed it the "One Pure Fellowship" which is consistent with Berean claims to being the One True Fellowship and the One True Body &c.

If you do a search for the phrase "purity of fellowship" you find considerably more search "hits". Like any other concept there are many ways to phrase it so the images below represent a small fraction of claims from The Berean magazine.

If someone claims they teach one thing while constantly arguing for the opposite position, a logical observer will conclude that the advocate's real position is the one he constantly argues on behalf of, and not the one he claims to hold.
